Kristian taught all three of my boys to drive, which means we’ve been with him for five years now. I’ve been waiting until my youngest passed his test to write this review. He did that today (first attempt). There’s a long list of things that make Kristian a very special driving instructor – professionalism, patience, the ability to get to know each student’s learning style quickly and adapt to that, to name a few. But I think what makes Kristian a standout is that he genuinely cares and it shows. He gets the best from every learner and helps them be confident in their judgement and ability. You made it extremely easy to learn all the techniques through a combination of step by step guides, the drawings, and by you doing some driving first so I could get a feel for it before attempting it. I recommend Drivers Edge at 1000%! My instructor Daniel is awesome, very calm, friendly and professional. He does know what he’s doing and what he teaches you. Prior to my lesson with Daniel I had a fear of driving. I had tried other instructors in the past but had little success. The calming and relaxed environment that Daniel created during the lessons enabled me to find my confidence and pass my test first time. Daniel is a great instructor! I will certainly recommend Drivers Edge to my friends. I had previously booked with other schools, and they never returned my phone calls nor turned up when an appointment had been made. It was great he was punctual, and made Jodie feel relaxed and very confident with her driving. Yesterday I passed my driving assessment 🙂 a week beforehand I was getting worried because my driving instructor (from another school) had left to go on holiday. The driving school then booked more lessons for me not only with one instructor but with 3 different instructors with 3 different cars, I was annoyed although I still attended the lessons which were mostly used getting used to the new cars…It was a week untill my assessment and the driving school then called me and mentioned my 3rd instructor cannot do my last couple of lessons and assessment so they booked me with a completely new instructor with a new car. I was nervous that I wouldn’t get used to this car and worried that i wont have enough lessons in time. So i googled for new instructors with the car i had originally been taught in (Suzuki Swift) and Drivers Edge driving school came up. I called them and in no time had a great response. I mentioned to them that I had been messed around with another driving school and I was looking to do some lessons before my test (which was under a week away) in a suzuki swift. They helped me out a lot and booked me in to have lessons before the test. I was very grateful i had found some one that could help me out in short notice. Their lessons were longer than any other instructors. I really appreciated Drivers Edge being able to take me to my assessment and do those couple last lessons with me on a short notice. Kristian was my second driving instructor, i went for my test three times and failed before i switched driving instructors to Kristian and the difference in teaching was huge. I learnt so much more and my confidence increased as we did practice driving tests that i hadn’t had with my previous instructor. After a couple of lessons with Kristian i passed my second practice test and felt confident that i was ready to go for my test for what was the fourth and last time.
